UK Peri Peri

About

UK Peri Peri is a halal peri peri chicken takeaway on Bishopscote Road, Luton, listed as open 4pm to 10.30pm every day, hygiene rating 4 of 5. The address is 56 Bishopscote Road, LU3 1PB, in Limbury, and the food hygiene register carries it as My Delish T/A UK Peri Peri. It is delivery and collection only, ordered through Just Eat or Uber Eats rather than from a website of its own, and Just Eat marks the kitchen halal. The two platforms do not agree on the hours: Just Eat's own listing data gives 4pm to 10.30pm seven days a week, while Uber Eats shows a longer window opening at midday, so ring or check the platform you are ordering from before an early evening trip. The menu is built around peri peri chicken: quarter chicken, burgers including a double breast, wraps, pittas, wings and strips, with meals taking fries or rice and a drink. Luton Borough Council inspected it on 28 January 2026 and rated it 4 out of 5, good. The component marks explain the 4 rather than a 5: hygienic food handling and the condition of the premises both scored 5, but confidence in management scored 10, and on the FHRS scale a higher number is worse, so it is the management and record-keeping side holding the rating down rather than the kitchen.
